Well well well, what do we have here? A Light Yagami fan art.
Light Yagami is a very difficult character to draw. He has an amazing ever-changing face. His expression changes with his emotions, and, he can reach the most cute face & the most evil face.
I see you chose a shot from the manga and then drew/coloured it by yourself.
And let me say, this is incredibly amazing: the face is perfect, you gave it a realistic tinge, especially on the lips, that is absolutely stunning. Hair is also awesome, it seems very soft and bushy, just like real hair; the nose and the shirt are enjoyable aswell, they have the right volume that make them nomnomable.
So, vision and technique deserve 5 stars.
I really, really like how you gave him a realistic look, but yet, he is in manga style. I could name it a FUTURISTIC MANGA, lol, hope you understand what I mean.
But but but, there is something I don't like at all: colours.
I am personally a huge fan of high contrast and bright colours, so this opinion may be just personal and not very professional. These vague colours decrease the impact of the pic. I mean, come on. This is the most intense scene of the manga, this pic should give an explosion of emotions.
If only you would have coloured it with red, powerful red, and black on the shadows, it really could be the most amazing fan art of this scene.
But yet, impact is a lot saved by the realistic look you gave him, so, 4 stars are good.
In conclusion: this IS a great fan art, I really love it, except for the colours. The pic itself deserves 4/5 stars. Hope ya like this critique.
